Halpern is set to develop the sitcom together with the creators of Will & Grace- David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. The show will also be co-written and co-produced by Patrick Schumacker. Aside from the TV show, Halpern has also scored a book deal for his Twitter account.

At the moment, the singer’s concert tour “Face 2 Face” with Billy Joel has been put into a halt because of the singer’s health.  The upcoming shows in the West Coast are temporarily cancelled and the organizers have requested ticket holders to hold on to their tickets until further notice. The shows in Portland and Seattle— previously rescheduled from their summer dates when Billy Joel fell ill with flu-like symptoms will most likely be rescheduled again.  The two rock legends have been on tour for six months.

The police were called to the venue and Lewis’ attacker was immediately apprehended. The attacker, 23-year old Peter Kowalczyk , was brought to a central London police station and charged with assault.   Kolwalczyk will have to appear at the City of Westminster Magistrate’s Court on October 26.

The singer reportedly got a bruise at the side of her head and is left shaken by the incident.  Being the professional that she is, Lewis was more concerned about her fans who lined up to have their books signed.  Lewis apologized to her fans through her management team who posted the following message on the singer’s Facebook account: “Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.”

Leona Lewis is the first ever British woman to have an album debut at number one in the Billboard 200 charts.  The album Spirits, released in 2007 in the UK debuted in the US charts at number 1 in 2009.

According to a report posted on the Brand X website, Ingels was fired because he tweeted about Jane Adams skipping her restaurant bill. Jane Adams reportedly pulled a “dine and dash” from the restaurant, skipping her bill that amounted to $13.44.  According to Ingels, after being served the bill, Jane Adams fumbled through her purse and blurted, “I left my wallet in my car!” Adams supposedly left the restaurant to get her wallet from her car but didn’t return.

According to Ingel’s blog, Adam’s agent called the restaurant one or two days later and offered to pay the bill saying Adams was out of town.  The agent paid the bill but stiffed on the tip. That’s when Ingels decided to tweet about the incident: “Jane Adams, star of HBO series ‘Hung’ skipped out on a $13.44 check. Her agent called and payed the following day. NO TIP!!!”

A few days later Adams returned to the restaurant and gave Ingels his $3 tip claiming her friend had read the tweet. Soon after that, Ingels tweeted positive things about Adams but it seems the damage has already been done. Ingels was fired two weeks after the incident. The Barney Greengrass management supposedly received various complaints from their clients about Ingels’ tweets including one from Adams.

Simon writes to himself, “So the sun went down on your shiny empire and you had to go back to living with Mum and Dad. That was, as I am sure you and I agree, humbling to say the least. Yet what is harder – much harder – is trying to claw your way back up the ladder.”

“You feel that everyone is laughing at you behind your back. Do you want to know something, Simon? That’s because they are”

In the letter, Simon also talks to his younger self— the man who wore nothing but designer suits from Armani and Versace— about the foolishness of spending money not yet earned. The music producer also muses about having a beautiful home and a Porsche he clearly could not afford and about losing it all when the economy hit recession. Simon then shares a very important lesson he learned in life- “Never borrow money” and about the importance of finding mentors and building strong relationships with them: “My good advice to you is to take good advice from the right people. The trick, of course, is to know who they are.”

Simon also talks about getting healthy: “What else has changed? Well, there used to be a big tin on your desk from which you would eat 20 chocolate biscuits a day. Now you snack on fresh fruit and vegetables.”

In the end, Simon talks about how grateful he feels about being where he is today: “You’re happy, you’re content and just incredibly grateful for where you are.”

Khloe Kardashian broke the news on her official website two days ago:

Lamar and Khloe have only been dating less than a month but they wanted to get married before Lamar has to leave to train for a new NBA season.  The couple was very quick to act on their decision to get married and their wedding was planned in less than two weeks. Khloe spills all the details of her upcoming wedding in this week’s Life & Style magazine cover story.

The upcoming wedding will be a first for both.  Kardashian, who is 25 years old, was romantically linked to athletes in the past; to footballer Derrick Ward, and basketball player Rashad McCants. Twenty-nine year old Lamar has two children with a former girlfriend he lived with for 11 years, Liza Morales. Morales and Odom had a third child who died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

According to a report posted on Radar Online, the show is based on the popular website- Mom Logic. The show will have a good mix of advice on health, beauty, fashion and other motherhood and parenting concerns.  The first episode will feature Spice Girl Mel B.

The three other hosts who will share airtime with Gosselin and Deen are Rene Syler, a former anchor on The Early Show at CBS, Lee Woodruff, the author of the best-selling novels In an Instant and Perfectly Imperfect and comedian Judy Gold.

A few months ago, Gosselin expressed her desire to host her own TV show in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.  She told the magazine, “There are no mom-centered talk shows” adding, “”I think that would be a very comfortable thing for me.”

During her stint as a guest co-host on The View, Kate explained her decision to continue appearing on TV- “I’m a single mom, and now more than ever, I need to be working hard to support my children.”

The show is being produced by Telepictures Productions. Telepictures has a good history of creating good talk shows; it is the same company that produces the shows of Ellen DeGeneres and Tyra Banks.

Now tell me, would you watch this TV show?

Tianna: Given the current downtrend within the real estate industry, how is your company doing and what have you had to change (if anything at all)

Katrina: I would say that every realtor is doing less volume now than during the boom years, but we are very active, especially over the last 3-4 months.  While I think the worst is behind us, I continue to be cautiously optimistic with regard to the health of the housing market.  While SALES volume is up, and even now prices seem to be inching up ever so slightly, the unemployment rate is rising and people are defaulting on their mortgages.  Not to mention that there has been no wage and income growth. By the same token, there are certainly compelling arguments as to why a potential purchaser should buy a home right now which include low interest rates, the first -time buyer tax credit, and the fact that prices have been cut in half over the last three years.  One has to remember that most Americans still have jobs and can buy a home they just may have to put more money down in order to secure financing.  If our economy continues to improve that will obviously help boost the housing market but there will still be skepticism and concern as to how the large amount of default will negatively affect our economy in the future.  It’s too early in the economic recovery to predict it will continue – we all know that consumer confidence is still at shaky levels now, and we just need to continue to see modest increases.  We certainly should not expect a bull market in real estate or any major price appreciation any time soon. However, I do think that sales will continue to rise at a modest clip.

My partner and I are actually starting a new venture focusing on the REO market, as we think this will continue to be a hot market for the next 2-3 years.  It is completely the opposite model to the luxury real estate platform, but REO properties are flying off the shelf these days.  Buyers are getting some great deals out there in this sphere. It also allows us to provide our Sports & Entertainment Division clients with some amazing deals!

Tianna: What time do you go to sleep?

Katrina: I work late hours – Some credit this habit to genetics and in my case I can certainly relate since my mother is a night owl – I feel most energetic when the sun sets. The night is a time of solace, silence, magic and possibilities.  I find that I accomplish much more after midnight than most people accomplish during the day, as my creative juices flow and expand when I am left alone with my thoughts.

Tianna: What pet/pets do you keep?

Katrina: I love animals and often find myself involved with charitable events in their support.  I have worked closely with the Humane Society and continue to do so.   I own two American Bulldogs and I treasure them.  Saki was rescued after enduring brutal abuse from a previous owner.  She is now healthy, loving and has brought much joy to my life.  Jax was acquired through a breeder friend of mine – he was the “RUNT” of the litter at the time and has evolved with Saki’s influence into a unique and joyful character.  I adore them both!

Tianna: Do you like chocolates?

Katrina: I love chocolate, I MEAN LOVE CHOCOLATE– it is the delicious ambrosia of the gods!  Don’t wreck a sublime chocolate experience by feeling guilty about the most sinful and delicious creation.   Enjoy!  I eat chocolate every single day.  I never skip a day!

Tianna: How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Katrina: Truly, I have lost count or rather I never kept count.  I definitely enjoy my shoe fetish so much so that I would love to have my own shoe line…  something I am seriously contemplating and looking into.  Nothing else is quite like the stiletto heel – a highly charged symbol of elegance, power, subversiveness and supreme femininity offering streamlined sophistication and glamour to women all over the world. Today heels designed by fashion icons such as Yves St. Laurent, Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin are the insignia of status and fashion savvy.  I can do just about anything in heels!

Tianna: What did you learn from being on the Apprentice and working so closely with Donald Trump?

Katrina: The one lesson I took away from The Apprentice was that of branding oneself.  You have to stick out from the crowd.  Know who it is you aim to please and go after them.  Don’t worry about trying to please everyone.  In order to succeed at branding yourself, you have to be bold, believe in yourself and have positive energy.  My mother always made me believe I could do anything, and so once I realized the power behind branding, I took it and ran with it.  Donald Trump really is a genius of sorts, and a master at branding.

Tianna: How do you deal with the success and fame?

Katrina: Much hard work goes into my day to day.   I was brought up in a traditional Cuban-American environment where education, hard work, morals and standards were of the utmost importance.  I was also brought up to believe that absolutely everything was attainable.  It was that foundation that afforded me the mind-set I grew to believe and sustain today.  Contrary to common belief, opportunities were not handed to me on a silver platter – my career is my own and my achievements I share with those that entered the make-up of my character and my thoughts, as well as my success.  Nothing gratifies me more that to see others succeed as it is so very palpable to me – that is true success.   Fame is a different story – everyone wants to be famous yet fame is truly an opportunity and a responsibility to make the world a better place and to leave an impact on society.

Tianna: How did your life change after The Apprentice?

Katrina: My life changed since my participation on The Apprentice and Miami Social taught me a thing or two.  To elaborate a bit, I really went into The Apprentice for the life experience I knew it would provide.  I also wanted to challenge myself by inserting myself into a situation far outside of my comfort zone.  I knew that would help me evolve as a person and I believed it would be a great experience.  I was not strategic in terms of how I would compete against others on the show itself.  Some participants really thought out their strategy and what they wanted to accomplish.  I really didn’t want to win, so for me the result was not as important as the overall experience.  I did manage to stick around for a while though…  The entire experience far surpassed my expectations.   I never thought it would be as popular as it became.  It definitely opened up doors for me professionally, and I have been very strategic about that.  I am forever grateful for being lucky enough to be chosen for the show as it really was an experience of a lifetime.

Tianna: Tell us about your new show on Bravo TV, Miami Social?

Katrina: described by the show’s producers, “Miami is an international cultural melting pot filled with the young, gorgeous and wealthy looking to live the good life. South Americans, East Coasters, native Floridians…everyone comes to Miami for the sun and fun – it’s a city that specializes in people that work hard and play even harder. In Miami Social, Bravo followed a successful group of friends who are some of the most connected and interesting young professionals in South Beach, as they go from the city’s night life, to the board room, to magazine offices where they lead their intertwined lives.

Miami Social’s season finale wrapped up as a controversial, daring, volatile and (believe it or not) thought-provoking show for some … yet for others, Miami Social left footprints of an ever-evolving, vibrant, edgy, bustling metropolis renowned for its colorful skyline, tourism, fashion, and nightlife, as well as a Mecca for international business.  “The Magic City” has weathered hurricanes, riots, scandals, corruption, crime, racial tension, political turmoil and endless waves of immigration, only to bounce back with impetuous audacity and so too will the cast of Miami Social.

Tianna: What is the most important thing in your life right now?

Katrina: Family by far is the most important thing in my life at this point in my life.  I also have a long-term goal to utilize the media to empower women and to encourage them to honor themselves – a subject I am most passionate about.   I yearn to instill a sense of self in others and encourage them to make the most of themselves by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of confidence and possibility into flames of optimism, drive and ultimate achievement.

Tianna: Do you collect anything? What do you collect?

Katrina: I love bracelets and collect them as well as they are probably the one eccentricity I enjoy.   I believe in the power of nature’s simple elements – crystals and stones possess powerful healing energy.  Most of my bracelets I either make myself of have someone make them for me. I am drawn to crystals and stones not only for their energy but for their magnificent beauty I love bracelets so much so that I am also working on a bracelet line called BRACE YOURSELF by Katrina Campins.

Tianna: What do you think of the paparazzi?

Katrina: Paparazzi are people just like everyone else.  Some go a bit overboard yet the reality is that they are doing a job – they just sell what people buy. If society’s fascination with the so called “celebrities” would subside, we would have no use for the paparazzi but unfortunately, in most cases, the celebrities are the ones that utilize and manipulate their every action.

After having been announced as the winner for the Best Female Video Category for “You Belong with Me”, an excited and smiling Taylor Swift went on stage to receive her “moon man”.  Swift had just began her acceptance speech when West stormed the stage, took the microphone from Swift and said “Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”

Initially, people were not sure if Kanye’s appearance on stage was part of the VMA presentations. It soon became clear to the audience that it was not part of the show and that Kanye had gone out of line.  After his comment, West was booed by the audience. West handed the microphone back to Swift but the country singer was too stunned to talk.  People applauded and gave Taylor Swift a standing ovation.

Beyonce rectified the situation when she won her award for Best Video of the Year by calling Taylor Swift back on stage so that the country singer could finish her acceptance speech.

Within hours of the incident, Kanye posted this apology on his blog: “”I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would’ve said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she’s in the bleachers! I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!”

Kanye also appeared on The Jay Leno Show yesterday apologizing once more to the country singer:

So, do you think Kanye West went out of line or was he just “keeping it real”? Do you think his apology is acceptable?

Aorta ran onto court and proceeded to hug and kiss Nadal while the tennis star was changing his shirt at the sideline. Security personnel apprehended Aorta and escorted him away from Nadal.

The US Open officials already beefed-up the stadium security last Wednesday to prevent similar incidents from happening. The incident involving Rafael Nadal brought back memories of a crazed man stabbing Monica Seles during a tennis match in Germany in 1993.

Nadal, on the other hand, just laughed off the incident. The tennis star wrote in his blog: “To be honest, I didn’t see the guy coming. I’d just taken my shirt off to change it when I saw a guy coming to me, kissing me and saying that he loved me… Then I saw the security jumping to him. I didn’t think it was important, not serious, and tried to stop the security at some point to leave the guy. You can actually read my lips saying “it’s OK”. Not that I know a lot of English to explain to them that it was OK, that he was cool and that for me it was OK. Not that I liked the kiss…”
